"Coraline" themed customized perfume

Now I can share this cool order after it finally reached Kristen. Didn’t want to spoil the fun before.
We made a customized perfume set based on Neil Gaiman’s “Coraline”. I’ve been longing for ages to make it, and it finally came through! Can’t say how happy I was! We covered the whole olfactory range from the popsicle sweet scents in “Pink Palace” down to the dark and earthly ones in “Other Mother” perfume.
Coraline is one of my favourite Dark Tales, so it was very interesting for me too to put scenes to scents.
Below I would love to share Kristen’s experience:
“I’ve gotten something delightful from @bydarktales : custom fragrances! It’s something I’ve wanted for a long time and I couldn’t be happier! They’re all themed around my favorite movie: Coraline! I’m going to individually talk about each scent because they’re all so cool!
Let’s start of with the star herself, Coraline! The notes are nutmeg, styrax, cistus, oak moss, violet, honeysuckle, mango, and passion fruit.
This fragrance actually really impressed me. It's earthy but vibrant with its fruity notes. It suits Coraline extremely well; she’s this inquisitive explorer who’s also very quirky and bright.
The fruity notes REALLY stand out on me, particularly the mango! Once it mellows down, it’s still fruity but it smells more comforting and warm (maybe the nutmeg note).
Each of these fragrances reminds me of different scenes from the movie: this one makes me think of when we’re first introduced to Coraline. Her yellow raincoat and bright blue hair pop against the dead unattended garden. Also, the first thing Coraline does when she moves to this new place is explore the outside of it!
One more thing about this fragrance: I don’t know if Arina did this on purpose, but during the dinner scene in the other world when Coraline is asked what kind of drink she’d like…she says mango milkshake!”
